Hi Petrus, Check that Contacts is ticked under your Apple ID in System Prefs. The Messages app refers to the Contacts to give those items names instead of numbers. So, go to System Preferences, press the Apple ID button on the initial pane of System Prefs, select iCloud from the first table, then interact with the Services table. In the Services table, make sure that Contacts is checked to sync your contacts with your Mac. You may also wish to confirm other services that you want syncing with iCloud.
