The new iPad mini 5 is using the same processor released last year for the
iPhone xs,
The A12 bionic I think they called it.

It’s the same processor in the iPad air 10.5 inch air released at the same time
as the mini 5

I thought that the iPad mini was using the A10 chip but it actually may be
using the a11 or a12?
Whatever the chip used its the same chip being used by the iPad Pro 3rd
Generation which I would have actually bought if that model had Touch ID.

Yeah the price is ok in the USA but here in NZ it’s not worth it.

The processor is a 3 year old product and the iPads 32GB wifi version is just
under 600 NZ dollars.

The iPad minis 64GB version is the same price give or take a few dollars.

Yes, I was just looking at this model tonight. Base price of US$329.32 gigabyte
Wi-Fi only I was thinking to use it as an alternate numbers spreadsheet
application platform and also for some video viewing if I can still see
anything. As far as I know it’s available I saw it on my Apple Store app, And
it is listed as a “new“ model.

Hi Listers,

I’m just doing some in vestigation for a friend, in to iPads.

I see there is a New iPad with a 10.2inch screen size
And no it’s not the iPad Air 10.5inch screen.

Has anyone heard of this having been released?

It’s a bit of a kick with only an A10 fusion processor in it.

I’m asking as I’d not heard of this being released
And it’s a bit of a sad device comparedto the air or the mini
