I now have an iMac with no os at this point with the exception of windows 10 which was installed using bootcamp. Not sure what is going on and I am hesedent to try a clean install on my 2018 Mac mini as I do not want to end up with no system. I did order a couple of external drives so will be doing a backup to one then looking into attempting to restore the backup to the iMac to see how that goes.
