Hi, Not sure if I understand what you're asking. Turning screen curtain on/off is a gesture that needs to be done on the iOS device itself. A hard reset is also done physically on the device. Now, if you mean that you're unable to turn off screen curtain for some reason, and you'd like to reset your iPhone to factory defaults and restore, then yes, that can be done from iTunes in Mojave and screen curtain will not be enabled upon the iPhone's restoration.
