If you are going to purchase a watch, What is the main requirement for it,
You say walking and exercise etc, then why not just use your series 1? I'm not sure I see the need to update to a later device if you don't use the features in it and already have a working unit even though it is earlier, Personally I would be purchasing the latest model even though it has the added features you say you wont use, But it will last you longer by staying more up to date than the series 3 which is already almost 3 years old. But you might also want to take in to account budget and the use you will get from it -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Anders Holmberg Sent: Saturday, 28 September 2019 6:43 AM To: 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> Subject: Applewatch a question. Hi! I decided not to by any of the Earpods or Powerbeats from Apple. However as i would like to buy me an apple watch and since its a bit expensive for my wallet i am wondering if the Series 3 is something i would regret to buy? I have the series 1 which i haven’t used for a very very long time and i don’t think i ever will either. BUt is the series 3 that Apple still sell something i should avoid? I don’t think i need the extra things that comes with the 5 and i guess the 4. But i am worried if its not going to be snappy enough? I will use it as i walk and for exersizing. Advice please. /A -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
