Well, I switched to the Siri male voice from the Alex voice for a period of one
week and never once got the problem of voiceover going silent and needing to be
refreshed. Then after one week I went back to Alex, it ran fine for about two
days and then twice in the same day I got the problem of voiceover going silent
and needing to be restarted. So my conclusion is it’s the problem in the Alex
voice. It’s unfortunate because it’s a great Voice to use. The Siri male voice
is fine, but it has a few lag issues which is surprising. Too bad, it’s so long
to Alex and Siri mail will have to do now.
