I can only assume that is your situation.

My watch is paired to my iPhone and it will ring if I get a call on the fphone.

 I have the gps watch as we don't have an LTE option here in nz,

 I'm not sure what would happen if you got a cal via facetime via your apple ID 
which should make any IOS device using that apple ID to ring.

I think then your watch and your phones would all ring.
