Hi Petrus, To eject from a Mac,
Highlight on the desktop or within computer the USB flash drive and hit Command plus E to eject. If you can’t read them in your mac Do you have a windows machine you can check them in? The Mac should read Fat32, ExFat NTFS and of course the Mac File System formats. The only problem you can expect is that any drives formatted as NTFS your mac wont write to it by default but will read from it. Unless apple have added in write to NTFS in the last 2 versions of the Mac OS. Hope that helps. I have a few old flash drives or memory sticks, what ever you want to call them? How do I check what is on them or even if my Mac will read the contents? I suspect there is some Mp3 files and audio books on them, but it has been so long I can’t remember. I used to use them with my old windows computer. I plugged one in and it said my Mac could not read it and gave me an option to eject it. But the next one I tried nothing happened, I was at least expecting a dialog box giving me some instructions. But when I pulled it out it told me that I didn’t eject it correctly. But it didn’t tell me how to do that. I do have an old external hard drive as well which has lots of MP3 audio books on it, but I didn’t want to plug that in until I had some idea of what I was doing.
