It's one of those things that is not totally perfect in VO yet.
Normally, if you press VO-shift-m to bring up a Contextual menu, you'd
think that it would be there if it is possible. If you press
VO-shift-m, all you see is "Clear chat Transcript", which is not what

TrackPad. If you have trouble with the right-click, just hold down the
ctrl key and click the mouse/TrackPad to bring up the proper Contextual

to delete the wrong message.
This sort of thing used to be the norm in the iBooks app on Mac until
they updated things a while ago. Probably if it was mentioned to the
Accessibility team, they may get it fixed.
