Hi,

I've primarily just left the defaults as is with success. I have also simply
left Archived messages going to the All Mail folder. Just make sure that you
have iMap enabled in the Gmail settings on your web interface. Regarding
expunging, as far as I know, that is the automatic elimination of deleted items
after a specific amount of time. I haven't properly read up on it, so anyone
is welcome to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Later...

Hi all.

I am just wondering what the best way to get mail to work offisionetly with
gmail. I have things set for the default behavior with the only exception
being that archived messages go to an archive folder. I use several devices
most of which use imap. Is there anything ddifferent either on the gmail side
or in mail itself I should change. I see in gmail settings an option to turn
off auto expunge. What is the difference between having this on or off? If
there is anything else I should do, I would like to know. Thanks.

Matthew
