Hi,
Unless they've changed the protection protocols, as long as you burn it
to an Audio CD, not an mp3 CD, then these steps will work. Being that
the process has you burning an Audio CDE, going directly to the stick
isn't an option, again, unless things have changed lately.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think you can burn drm content to a cd.

Hi,
iTunes will not let you convert purchased music to mp3. Well, not
directly anyway. There is a workaround though. You would need to
burn it to an Audio CD, then re-import the tracks from your Audio CD,.
The new imported tracks end up having the DRM stripped thus allowing
for the conversion to mp3. Pain in the behind I'm sure, but that's
the DRM world.

Well the idea is to put these albums on a music player. I had been
getting mu music from Amazon but decided to buy from iTunes. The music
player still works so want to use that too but it does not support m4a.
