Hi,

Normally, that's just an automatic thing. With an iTunes Match subscription,
you automatically have an iCloud Library. First, I'd make sure that the iCloud
Music Library functionality is enabled on the iPad and any other iOS devices
you use. Home Sharing does not affect this process. If all that is satisfied,
then that message usually appears when something that you've added to the
playlist is not present in your iCloud Music Library. I suggest that you go
into iTunes on the Mac, then under the File menu, Library, then choose Update
iCloud Music Library from within the sub-menu. Hopefully, that does the trick.
Let me know if you still have problems.

Hi,

I’ve created a playlist in iTunes on my mac running Sierra, latest itunes.
While creating the playlist & adding music to it, I got a message that I
couldn’t create this playlist in iCloud so it will only be created locally on
my computer. How do I make sure I can play it on all my macs & devices? I
have home sharing and it’s turned on but I can’t see the playlist on my iPad.
Music app on iPad is rather confusing I find. I have iCloud library with match
but no Apple music. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew
