Save and edit PDFs on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with the Books app
With Apple Books, you can store and mark up PDFs and more.
 
You can add PDFs to your Apple Books Library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod
touch, or Mac, then access your files on any of your other devices using
iCloud Drive. Learn more about using Apple Books.

Save or import a PDF
You can save a PDF from your email or a website into the Books app. You can
also save an email or webpage as a PDF, import PDFs from other apps, or add
PDFs to your Apple Books Library on your Mac.
Save a PDF file attached to an email or on a website
On your iOS device, tap the PDF to open it, then tap   . Swipe through the
middle row, then tap Copy to Books.

Import a PDF from another app
Each third-party app is different. Steps might vary.
Look for an option to Share or   . Then choose Copy to Books. You might also
see an option to "Open in," then choose Copy to Books.
If you can't find anything like the above, look for an option to Print or
AirPrint. Then follow the steps to save the PDF like you would for an email
or webpage.
Add PDFs to your Library on Mac
Open Apple Books, then find your PDF file in Finder or on your Desktop and
drag the file into your Library.
Your PDF will be available in the Books app on any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch,
or Mac, as long as you're signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud
Drive turned on for Books.
1. In an email thread, you can also tap See More at the bottom of any single
message, then tap   and choose Print. This lets you save an older email in
the thread as a PDF.
2. If the webpage has Reader view available, you can also tap   in the
address bar to clean-up and simplify the webpage before you save it to
Books.

Delete a PDF
In the Library section of the Books app, find the PDF that you want to
delete, then tap   in the lower-right corner below the PDF's cover icon. You
might see one of two options:
.       Remove: Your PDF is currently downloaded to your device. Tap Remove,
then choose Remove From Reading Now, Remove Download, or Delete Everywhere.
.       Delete Everywhere: Your PDF is stored in iCloud Drive and isn't
currently taking up space on your device. 
Choose Delete Everywhere to remove the PDF from iCloud Drive on all of your
devices.
