I wasn't sure as I haven't installed to this macbook air in a while. I've just installed 1809 to my 13" MBP from 2015 and that worked great with headphones, And no need to use usb flash drive for windows installer files. I did this on a MBP mid 2014 and it worked just fine. You will also need a usb drive as well for these older machines. After the boot camp part of the install switches over to the windows installer, and after about half a minute or so, you can activate narrator and away you go.
