Okay, I couldn’t care less if I sound like a commercial here. But, fact of the matter is this. I bought CleanMyMac and it’s totally worth the $39.00 I paid for it. It’s made my this here dinosaur of a mid 2009 Mac book Pro a lot snappier than it was before. Mail is opening and behaving much much faster, Safari is both opening and browsing much much faster than before and overall, I can’t say enough about how much faster this thing is. I’m just wondering if there’s any way to fix the time it takes to boot up from either restart or having been shut down. It used to only take about 40 seconds now it takes about a minute and 30 seconds. The only thing I’ve got starting up at the beginning is Drop Box. That routs to a spinning 4TB drive but the Drop Box partition is only 1TB on that disk. Anything I might be overlooking? Oh, needless to say, I cannot upgrade to Mohavi because this here Mac is way too old.
