Simon, In photo-land, that's known as a Burst. Taking photos in rapid succession. My wife borrowed my iPhone once when we were on Kauai. Surprise, surprise, it was raining and she was on this trail that warned about being slippery when wet. Of course, it was just that. we have about 10 photos in a row of the sky and ground and what not as she was holding tightly to the volume buttons as she went a## over tea kettle. A great chronology of her escapade.

And to make it worse if you take a photo and keep holding the up or down volume button, it will sound like your firing an automatic pistol, As it's taking constant photos Bloody funny if you like doing crazy stuff. -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Michael Busboom Sent: Friday, 25 January 2019 2:31 AM To: 'Adrian Leong' via MacVisionaries <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> Subject: Why so many pictures, when I never take pictures? Hi, everybody, When checking memory allocation for various apps, I discovered that 1.24 GB could be saved if I automatically sent iPhotos to the cloud whenever I took one. Since I never intentionally take pictures, I can only assume that these photos are generated whenever I lock my phone. Since I frequently lock my phone and always hear the sound of a camera shutter when doing so, I am assuming that I am also taking a picture. Is there any way to lock my iPhone XR without activating the camera every time? Many thanks, Mike -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
