Yes, a similar process works with Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager now, where integrating an MDM like Jamf, Zulu Desk or many other solutions make this integration of platforms work quite slick. Our MDM manages both Mac and iOS devices so that there is very few instances where Techs need to physically make contact with the managed devices.
