The only time I have run in to this is when someone deleted the windows volume in the bootcamp partition whinch meant there was no longer anything for the bootcamp assistant to remove and therefore giving errors in the assistant the only thing other than killing the person responsible was to eraise the drive and repartition to one solid partition / volume and reinstalling -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Pete De Vasto Sent: Saturday, 19 January 2019 8:32 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Removing Bootcamp Windows From My MacBook Air
Hi all, I’m trying to remove my windows Bootcamp partition from my 11-inch MacBook Air running the latest version of Mojave. I’m using the Bootcamp Assistant, but I can’t seem to get it to work. The checkboxes to get the Windows image and download support software are usable, but the uninstall one, which I need, is dimmed according to VoiceOver. Doing some research has uncovered another method using Disk Utility, but according to the Apple Support pages you’re only supposed to use Bootcamp Assistant. So, has anyone else run into this situation where the uninstall checkbox isn’t available, and if so what have you done to fix it? Thanks for any help, Pete De Vasto -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
