Hello, I see two advantages for using spaces beyond what Tim mentioned. 1. Windows know when they are completely hidden, and if you have a window that is making a lot of updates that you don’t care about the OS will automatically ignore requests to update window contents while the window is hidden. 2. For folks where magnification can make a difference using spaces reduces clutter and gives one maximum space to view the window.
