Hello folks,
I've been gradually moving tasks from Windows to the Mac. The next phase of
this move involves word processing. I don't have to do a lot of complex
document composition myself, but I do have to be able to read MS Word documents
that may include tables, and I also have to be able to deal with docx files.
I've read that Nisus writer isn't completely docx compatible and have heard
accessibility complaints regarding Open Office on the Mac. Then there is the
Pages application in Iwork about which discussions I've seen are somewhat mixed
with respect to its usability with VO. Most of this talk has been vague surface
references. Can anybody point me to reviews of word processing applications
with the vo user in mind? Or can you comment on personal experiences with these
applications and their usability in SL with vo? I've looked at the sources for
podcasts and haven't seen anything obviously advertising that word processing
and docx compatibility will be discussed. Tanks in advance for any info, or
leads.

Mary
