The first thing I'd do, is change the vo keys, control-option-to the
capsloc key.

Most of the keystrokes have stayed the same with VoiceOver. They did
switch around a couple items in High Sierra so that it is more
difficult to adjust the voice parameters with shortcuts. They
essentially added the shift key to the combo which already used
control-option-command with arrow keys. So it is probably best to use
the VoiceOver utility to adjust speed / pitch etc. Feel free to ask
any questions that come up!
Enjoy the new machine!

Hi folks.
I've just ordered the new Mac mini.
The 6core I7, 16 gigs of ram, and the 256 gig ssd.
I'd love to use it for making music things with logic, but I'll get to
logic later.
So I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.
I've used a macbook air with vo, just to try it out, and I liked it.
I've also been listening to some audio podcasts on applevis.
I've found some old audio tutorials, done by Mike Arrigo.
I no the OS has been updated sents then, but do the tutorials still
apply?
I think they were done sometime in 2012.
