Please confirm the following from another source, but I think you have to fall 
and stay down for a minute or so, without making an attempt to get up, before 
it calls 911. I do not have an Apple watch, but if I did, I may, or may not, 
leave this feature turned on. I think it is a great idea, though.

Fall Detection is off by default unless you are 65 years or older. I would 
encourage turning on Fall Detection. Fall Detection is very good at Detecting 
False Alarms and gives a person a minute or so to raise from a Fall.
