Ever think about trying NVDA? I run Windows 7 in Fusion 10.x in full
screen mode. Most problems I have comes from hitting non Windows
commands which puts me in Mac. If I need to switch between Windows and
Mac, I do it carefully but sometimes to be safe I will shut Windows down.
VMware itself is not an issue. Perhaps version 10 may work more
smoothly but version 11 was just released so if you upgrade to Mojave
10.14 you might install version 11 then. I will be upgrading to Mojave
next week.
