Hi,
If it's giving you those instructions, then focus is likely on the
field that it is rambling on about.

something has changed for sure. it may very well be that Apple has
changed the way it's done. I have already been doing as you suggested
but I haven't been able to gain focus because instead of reporting
exactly where I am, vo is giving me instructions for using the stored
info.

Hi,
Try to press tab and/or shift-tab to make sure that you get focus on
the username entry field, then arrow down once and press return.
This should auto-fill your information. It's possible that all that
has happened is that Safari and Apple have changed the way that you
were accustomed to doing this. It's supposed to be a more secure
process.

I was out of town for 3 weeks and when I got back here and fired up
my Mac I started having problems. I've tried to log into 3 different
websites for which I have stored usernames and passwords. none of
them have let me in. on one, I reset my password and still couldn't
get in. I don't know if this means my cursor isn't in the field I
think it is or what. when I get into a username or password field I
start getting this message about how to use the stored username
and/or password in Safari. is there a way to get rid of this maybe in
the vo utility or somewhere?
there's another thing and I don't know if it's related or not. my
adblock plus extension had to be deleted because its newest update
was causing some kind of clash. I'm still running Sierra so I don't
have a lot of popup blocker protection. it does make Safari act a
little different for me and that's when I started having trouble with
the usernames and passwords on sites that worked fine before.
I appreciate any feedback you guys might have for me on this.
thanks.
