Hello, I haven’t tried this in vmware, but as I recall, there are keystrokes for switching between consoles. Unless it has changed, Ubuntu has six text consoles accessed with ctrl+alt+f1 through control+alt+f6 and the graphical console with ctrl+alt+f7
On the mac, ctrl+alt would equate to ctrl+option which is the VO key. So I would try turning VO off in fusion before trying the above keystrokes to switch consoles.
