I must say I completely agree. I feel like they are trying to force us to use face id. Touch id was adopted a few years ago and it just works. It doesn't matter where my phone is when I need to unlock it and I like that. I will gladly keep my mac book around until it breaks, and this IPhone probably has another year or two, but I am thinking it might be time for a change.
