Hi, The only way to turn off Genius would be to turn off Apple Music first. After Apple Music is off, then turn off Genius should be available under the Account menu. You could then turn it off, and re-enable Apple Music. This process should not hurt any of your Apple Music playlists or other Apple Music items you may have created as the Apple Music library is stored in the Cloud, not on your Mac.
