Ray,

I'm not familiar with that device, but have these suggestions. First, if you
go into Disk Utility, do you see these devices? Second, if you go under the
Apple menu, About This Mac, then press the System Report button. There's a
table in there where USB is listed. Select this USB title then stop
interacting with the table and navigate right to the details for the USB
devices. See if your recorder is listed there. If it is not, then there is
something either wrong with the USB cable that connects the recorder to the
Mac, something wrong with the USB interface within the recorder itself, or some
combination of the two. It wouldn't hurt to try it with a different cable too
see if things improve.

HTH.

Okay,

I get that this is not exactly an Olympus help list, but, I can’t think
of anywhere else to ask.

Back when I got my Olympus DM-720 I could connect it directly to my Mac and it
would see both the Olympus internal memory as DM-720 and the 32GB microSD card
as Noname or something like that. Now, today, I recorded files on the
recorder’s card and tonight, when I went to connect the recorder to my Mac it
just will not register. I switched the USB class to PC fixed and Variable and
the USB class to storage and then composit and nothing worked. I reset the
settings on the recorder, took out the battery and removed the MicroSD card and
did all that over again. Still, nothing worked. I even removed my external
drive and connected the recorder directly to my Mac using the built-in USB plug
right on the recorder. No good. My Mac is perfectly able to register and show
me the external Passport drive I use for regular storage but not my Olympus.
Is there some security setting I need to change some where? The Olympus site
seems to offer no help.

Thanks.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
