That's a bit ambiguous, I know. What I want to know is how to have VoiceOver speak the number of the focused object in the currently opened folder--e.g., one of twenty, thirty-seven of five hundre fifty-two, etc. Of course, I know about the "Get info" dialog, but that only gives a summary of the selected object--i.e., file or folder. I should know this, and I'm pretty sure I once did, but of course, when one needs such things, they fly out of one's head! LOL

Thanks in advance. Don't beat me up too hard for being so forgetful, or I'll invoke the universal answer--wait till you're my age! LOL!
