Hi, Shift-tab moves backwards through items, so if you're on the first item of a page, then hitting shift-tab may just normally take you to your Bookmarks area. Pressing just he tab key will move forward through items. There is a setting in Safari Prefs, in the Advanced pane, that changes the tab behaviour slightly in that it will land on more items. It also adds the ability to press option-tab to go quickly to Edit fields. It's in the Accessibility area and says something about pressing tab to highlight things.
