I just got a ComPilot to connect my Phonak Nathos S+ Wireless hearing aid to my iPhone 7 Plus via Bluetooth. The results were very disappointing. The ComPilot made things more tinny and when I tried using BlindSquare, as soon as the GPS navigation app started speaking, the robotic ComPilot voice interrupted to announce “Bluetooth audio”! This obliterated tge first sentence of what BlindSquare was telling me. When BlindSquare stopped speaking, two seconds later ComPilot played tge “goodbye” beeps and stopped streaming. And when BlindSquare started speaking again, ComPilot obliterated that by announcing “Bluetooth audio” - and so it went on. I wrote to the manufacturer who sent me a form to print out to return it. I don’t know if all Phonak models react like this? A cautionary tale! Oh, by the way, the Amazon Basics waterproof and shockproof speaker someone on the list recommended is wonderful! Regards Harry
