Hi everyone,
Twice now, I have had to restart the Mac in order to bring Voice Over speech
back. Yesterday, I was selecting a number of items in Finder and VO went silent
- in fact, i had no sound at all. So once i restarted the computer - by holding
down the power button I'm afraid, I repaired the Permissions and everything
seemed to be fine. A few moments ago however, after waking the Mac from sleep
(I am currently running off of the battery), I again had no speech. So I am
sending this E-Mail after having restarted in the hope that others have had
similar experiences and so may have some solutions.
I think i will drop Apple a message just to let them know that this is
happening in the current build of 10.6.2, as i know another member here has had
a similar problem where they are unable to upgrade to 6.2 due to having no
speech or sound.
