The Macintosh has several commands in the file menu, but it does get a little confusing with Apple applications because documents are often automatically saved every few minutes or so by default. There should be an export option in the file menu to save as a Microsoft Word document. Currently I am working on an older system and I also changed my file menu so that the that it is more like older Macintoshes and other systems with a Save / Save As menu items. Also note that in 97 percent of Macintosh applications the keystrokes are standardized for Save, Save As, Find, Cut, Copy, Paste undo, redo. So these keystrokes should work in your applications that are not Web based applications. (run in Safari). Enjoy!
