Hello and sorry for the cross posting but i figured that if someone on one list
doesn’t know this then maybe another one on the other list might know.
I’m using an audio editor for the Mac called TwistedWave which for the very
most part is accessible, however i can for the life of me not figure out how to
select small portions of audio from the keyboard. I have tried shift+left and
or shift+right arrow but to no avail.
Yes there are the editors where you can punch in how long a selection should be
time wise but that method is unprecise as i see it because even if you say how
many seconds or whatever the sound should be, you could get in the middle of a
sound you don’t want edited and what then?
I want to be able to edit audibly so that i hear exactly what is to be cut and
what not and if i have selected too little or too much i want to be able to
nudge the selection left or right.
Yes Amadeus can do that but then you don’t have scrubbing and it’s tedious and
cumbersome to edit in there. In my opinion only two sound editors did this
right, Soundforge for windows and Sound designer for Macc. Unfortunately Sound
designer doesn’t exist anymore and Sound forge is on the wrong platform and
besides it has gone from a nice two-track editor for stereo files to a multi
track DAW wannabe.
So does anyone know if selecting small portions of sound is even possible from
the keyboard in TwistedWave?
