This worked for me today. Just curious that I still needed to enter
the PIN for my debit card. If the terminal has no physical keypad, its
no good anyway,

Thanks. Remember, this is all new to me. I only just got Touch ID and
Apple Pay set up in the last couple days. Plus the passcode which until now I

Really, stepping through it like that makes it sound longer and harder
than it is. Double press the home button, hold the phone to the
reader, and rest a finger on the home button for Touch ID. The only
way it gets easier is if you're using an Apple Watch. I hope this
explains things some, and your next attempt goes more smoothly.

unsuccessful in getting Apple Pay to work at three different
terminals at three different businesses, on each of our phones. I
have an 8 Plus and she has a 7 Plus.

was the first time, since Apple Pay was introduced, that I was not
able to complete a transaction, successfully.
I called another friend of mine, who lives a couple of states away,
and he, too, was unsuccessful in completing a terminal-based Apple

So, I suggest that you wait a few days and give it another try, say,
sometime after Monday.
Just so you know, a few minutes ago, I did successfully reload my
Starbucks card, via Apple Pay. Keep in mind that doing so did not
