Well when I go to a Verizon store I will get a new phone anyway, its
just a matter of when. After a reboot I got 1 bar but its back to no
signal now.

when there's just no service, or when there's an issue with the Sim Card. Take
the phone to your carrier and they can check if you need a new card. If your
carrier isn't nearby or particularly easy to access, if you have a friend or
family member with an iPhone, you can switch Sim Cards and see if the other Sim
card gives service or not.
