I have found that turning off automatic update in App and ITunes settings helps. This at least delays matters. Despite this my phone did eventually download iOS 11 last week and wanted to install it. However I then went into manage my storage in settings. There I ffound the iOS 11 Update and deleted it from there. Since then I have had no nags to update to iOS 11. David Griffith

I also don’t believe there is a way to turn off update notifications unless there is a hidden notification to do this for system features. The only thing I’m aware of allowing this is MDM systems but I don’t think the average user will be using one. Can anyone tell me if there’s a way to tell your iPhone SE not to alert you to software updates? I’d rather check for them manually.
