You know, I had the same or similar problem with at least one Usb port. I found that it happened after I jabbed my headphone jack into it by mistake. It apparently set some switch, so I found that I just needed to go back into it at the bottom corner, where I could feel it closer to the opening and gently push it further back into the slot with that blunt object. Then I could feel it click back into place, and that fixed it.
Hth, and let us know if that worked. > On Nov 11, 2017, at 11:54 AM, Christine Grassman <cgrassman1...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > Hello all: > For the past two days, I have attempted to connect an Actilino Braille > display for the purpose of transferring BRF files to read on the Actilino. > However, each time I connect it to my 2014 Macbook Air, I receive a “USB > accessories disabled; remove the USB device which is drawing too much power”. > I’m paraphrasing.
