This terminal commandwill download a youtube video and extract the vidio in mp3, following the command will be an explanation of each part of the commmand:
youtube.dl --restrict-filenames -x --audio-format mp3 --youtube-skip-dash-manifest --audio-quality 0 url After the commandname the restrict part will put a hyphen in any spaces of the name. The -x says to extract the audio. Format is obvious, others are available. The manifest flag saves the time to download unwanted info. The quality is from 0 - best to 9 - worst. The better the quality the larger the mp3 or other file format. Url is the web address of the video/audio file. This application will download most all video and audio files on the web, nlot just youtube videos.
