Well, if anybody cares, I set my Mac to go to sleep after three hours. It had been set to never. And I said the screen saver to kick in after 1 hour. I shut down the machine and restarted it. And still, if I start reading a long email or an article, within about two minutes or so, I get that damn announcement. This is really unusable. I've gone from busy busy on Sierra to this. I'm just about done with a Mac. If I can't get basic tasks done efficiently, windows here I come. It's really a shame. Because Apple bills nice machines. And the phones are great, and I love how the Mac on the phone sink etc. But come on. How hard should it be to allow people to just simply read things?
