Hi, As mentioned, Apple Remote Desktop can do that, although it's not so easy from different networks. Screen Sharing is also built-in to the Mac, but sound is not passed through, so hearing VO output is impossible without some other method of channeling the sound. The basic problem you're going to run into is that, if you're really trying to do this for the initial setup, none of these tools will have been installed, so whether it's ssh, tandom or any other remote operation, establishing that connection will be extremely problematic.
