Please note, at one point I posted an Apple Script that would say what the
next scheduled song in iTunes would be. This script by necessity opens the
recent history view. I expect an opposite script could be written.

Also, if it is the fact that iTunes is tracking your history and not the
fact that it displays this, then I just suggest you go out and learn Linux
 Apple, Google  and Microsoft all track various items and in some cases
especially for Microsoft and Google send this information back to
mothership home.

(Please don't get political about last sentence... It is just a bit of
humous  / opps humous   thrown in. I might not even fully agree with what
it implies. )
