There is a new feature in iOS 11 where voiceover is supposed to be able to read
subtitles. I just tried it using the Prime Video app on my iPad mini two.
Strangely, I found that with VoiceOver enabled, I could not activate subtitles
in the Prime Video app. With voiceover off, my sighted spouse was able to turn
subtitles on, and then VoiceOver read them, although it was kind of choppy.
That could be a function of the fact that I'm using an iPad mini 2, which isn't
gods gift to speediness. I'm curious if anyone has been able to turn subtitles
on and off with in the Amazon prime video app or any other app for that matter,
when voiceover is enabled. I don't know if this is a voiceover issue or a bug
in the Prime Video app.
