Larry, Apple will most certainly charge you a arm and a leg for a 2 TB SSD, easily over $500 if not closer to $1000. Here is a thought, why not simply get a 2 TB external thunderbolt drive then leave it permanently connected? This will be a much cheaper solution, and some external SSD drives out there is not much larger than a credit card. Alternatively buy your own drive and get a friend or someone to install it for you, on the mini it is so easy that you can even ask a non-Apple Computer store to do it for you, this will be a much cheeper route than letting Apple do it for you.
