Yup, the problem is squarely in Adobe's lap as they haven't (publicly)
lifted a finger to get VO support in Flash. Of course on the iPhone
there is no flash support at all even though the device has been around
for a few years now. Makes me wonder if there isn't some non-technical
issues between Apple and Adobe. There certainly has been more and more
overlap in products in more recent years (iMovie/FinalCut vs Adobe
Premiere, Preview vs. Acrobat Reader, Pages vs. Adobe Indesign etc).

Sorry, couldn't resist, but to answer your actual question, a few
totally blind mac using friends haven't had that much luck with it; I
always assumed that this wasn't possible - probably for the best
really.
