Well you certainly could use a bluetooth headset, which would work reasonably 
well if your not to far from the source. You also could for about $100 purchase 
an AirPort Express and purchase a program such as Airfoil from Rogue Omeeba and 
stream audio to a stereo etc. wirelessly. Now it has been a while since I tried 
this, but I'm pretty certain it worked, but I haven't the express any longer 
since I sent it to a friend. There are other low-tech solutions like running a 
cable from the Mac to a receiver or whatever source you can plug into. So, 
hopefully that provides you some ideas.
