Hey Scott,

Jeez! I was going to say I could come and visit you to tweak you a little bit
in person when I am in the area, but dang, there’d be nothing left of me to
bury! lol!

How did you happen to come by a vintage grenade launcher anyway if I might ask?

There’s a little gun shop near me which has all sorts of vintage full auto
firearms but I’m betting they don’t see too many weapons like that.

I am friends with a luthier who creates crazy contraptions on the side. He has
a giant home-made multi-colored day-glow cannon that he shoots bowling balls
out of up in the mountains. They go about five miles! lol!

I’ll just settle for my little 9mils. :)

I am lousy with an AR 15 but awesome with 9s.

There is supposedly a blind shooter up in your area whom I believe has
developed an audio-based scope. Apparently he’s quite good with it.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of ear protection do you use with your m79?
-Or do you use any?

Anyway, thanks for the interesting post and glad you like the app.

I was glad to find it.

Cheers!

Cara

This is very cool. The hardware I have is a little bit on the excessive side
for most gun clubs but luckily in the live free or die state, here in the woods
my neighbors are enthusiasts and don’t mind when I bring out the M79 for a
little fresh air. We buy old cars from junk yards for under $100 and blow the
hell out of them with the M79 or my neighbor has a Bofers automatic cannon.

I used to have a source for small beepers that were flat disks you could stick
to a clay pigeon and have audible skeet shooting but I can’t find the small
beepers any more that won’t disturb the clay pigeon in flight. I also have a
line on small RC drones with exploding removable wings that you shoot with
shotguns. If you hit the drone the wings make a huge puff and you just replace
them so it’s all reusable.

Very cool app, thanks for pointing it out.
