Hi Laura, First go to the folder where the file was originally located. Then enter time machine. You should hear a little wooshing noise and then you should be in the folder but in your time machine. Now here you have to use window chooser menu to alternate between the controls window where you can select the date from which to restore, Thename use the window chooser again !find thelist of your files and highlightthe one you need and then restore it.
