Hi all
I've been using generic 3rd party USB keyboards on my iMac for a long
time without any issues, swopping around the "option" and "command"
keys wworked as expected each time I had to do it after plugging in a
new or different keyboard.

I'm having issues doing this on my 2015 MacBook pro though, yesterday
I connected a external USB keyboard to it for the first time, and for
some reason the modifier change doesn't work. I do exactly the same as
on the iMac, go swop them around inside modifier keys under Keyboard
preferences but it doesn't work.

I make sure that I'm selecting the USB keyboard when swopping the
modifiers and then press "Ok" but it doesn't change, if I go back in
to the Modifier keys diolog it's set the way I changed it, but it
doesn't take effect.

Both my machines are running the latest Mac OS so that can't be the
issue, iMac is a 2013 and MBP is a 2015.

Any ideas?

Nickus
