In the scheduler, you don't use the vo commands. You just move around with tab if you use the VO commands it will select every day that it passes over. Again just use the tab key and the to select the days you want to schedule a back up. Also, to achieve the same end, I guess you could turn curse of trapping off and use the video commands that way.
